Ooc-Om-Boc Festival, (15) occurs yearly on the 10th full moon in the Vietnamese lunar calendar, is one of the three most important celebrations among Khmer people culture, particularly in Soc Trang. For them, the moon controls the weather and harvests within a year. Therefore, (16) midnight, when the moon is at its highest point, a wide range of farm products: bananas, coconuts, sweet potatoes, and new sticky rice are used as offerings.
